True Blue Angels Support Groups are facilitated by our Grandcarer Support Worker.
Call 6622 8002 for more information about the groups.

We are not currently running a regular support group at Brunswick Heads but there is regular group meeting in Ballina.
You may also like to come along and meet the lovely people in the Tweed Support Group, which meets at 10 am on the first tuesday of each month (except school holidays) at The Banora Point Community centre at 10 am

Grandparents Playgroup

A supported playgroup designed for the growing number of grandparents who have part or full time care of their grandchildren. A place for grandparents to meet and share their experiences while the children play.Thursday 10.00am to 12.00pm, Baptist Centre, Rajah Rd Ocean Shores. $2 Donation.

This group has been running successfully for 20 months now and is always well attended. It provides a really safe space for grandparents to get together and the kids get to play with each other. Information and support is provided to assist grandparents traverse the complexities of parenting for the second time around. 

Ballina Byron Family Centre

Provides support to families with dependant children who live in the Ballina and Byron Shires. There are five specific programs to cater to the differing needs experienced by families. These are: Ballina Byron Family Support Service, Early Years Program, Ballina Byron Volunteer Home Visiting Service, Ocean Shores Parent Resource Centre and the Fellas Program. Ocean Shores Parent Resource Centre

A resource centre for parents and primary carers on any matters concerning families and parenting issues. Information on child health, development, behaviour, parenting, support groups, parenting courses, activities and services. One to one support and referral if required. Monday to Thursday 10.00am to 4.00pm. For more info: 66804919
